Positions Available: One individual student

TRU Career and Experiential Learning is looking for an HR student who wants to gain experience in Training and Development, Recruitment and General HR Skills. This project is an opportunity to develop generalized HR skills that will assist with future HR employment opportunities. This 8 phase project is designed as a way to develop skills in training and development, recruitment, grant management, as well as policy and procedures.

This project will focus on:

  • Developing a new employee training manual
  • Policies and Procedures
  • Recruitment Support
  • Supervising grant applications and funding support
  • Work Permit processes and support
  • Processing Job Postings for TRU Students
  • Document Formatting

Phase 7: Grant Supervision

Supervising student’s currently working on funding grants, facilitating weekly meetings, ensuring students are completing deliverables, answering questions regarding funding requirements.
