Parental alienation is rising along with mental illness and studies indicate that teenage suicide is directly linked to family breakdown. The divorce process is inherently destabilizing - people feel overwhelmed, hopeless, and "divorce crazy." a term often used in amongst Family lawyers . Rates of domestic violence rise over 80% during relationship breakdown. T.C.D. is an integrated system that focuses on prevention in a simple way empowering and supporting families during these critical times.

Website Integration and Enhancement for The Clean Divorce

The Clean Divorce is seeking to enhance its online presence by revamping its website to integrate a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other essential software tools. The current website lacks the functionality to efficiently manage client interactions and streamline operations. This project aims to provide a seamless user experience for both clients and staff by incorporating CRM capabilities directly into the website. The integration will enable better client data management, improve communication, and automate routine tasks. The project will also involve ensuring that the website's design remains user-friendly and accessible. The goal is to create a cohesive digital platform that supports The Clean Divorce's mission of providing efficient and compassionate divorce services. - Analyze the current website structure and identify areas for integration. - Research and select appropriate CRM and software tools for integration. - Develop a plan for seamless integration of CRM and other software. - Ensure the website remains user-friendly and accessible post-integration.

Freedom Roadmap: Enhancing Workplace Wellness through EAP Integration

Project Overview: This project invites students to design a professional and compelling strategy to package and promote  The Freedom Roadmap —a divorce support program—for inclusion in Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). The goal is to position the  Freedom Roadmap  as a vital mental health and productivity resource that companies can offer to employees going through separation or divorce. Background Research Insight: Divorce is one of the most stressful life events and can significantly impact employee well-being and performance. Studies show that employees navigating divorce experience reduced productivity, increased absenteeism, and emotional distress for an average of  three years . According to research by the Grief Recovery Institute, the cost of divorce and other emotional stressors to U.S. businesses exceeds  $75 billion annually . These stressors directly affect workplace engagement, decision-making, and team morale. By offering  The Freedom Roadmap  through their EAPs, companies can proactively support their staff, reduce stress-related losses, and foster a culture of compassion and resilience.

Podcast Production

Since podcasts are becoming an increasingly popular content medium, our company hopes to capitalize on this by creating our own. In this project, students will collaborate with us to take advantage of trending media and create a season of our own podcast. We would like students to deliver a 5-episode podcast series based on our company’s nice to resonate with our target audience. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Collaborating with the project manager to form a name and a theme for the podcast, and a topic for each episode. Script various components of each podcast episode such as the introduction, welcome, call to action, and outro. Create cover art for the podcast. Research and plan what will be discussed on an episode-by-episode basis. Record and edit each episode. Facilitating special guest appearances in one or more episodes.

It was an honour working with Ms. Winlove-Smith and The Clean Divorce team on the AI-Enhanced Freedom Roadmap project. Ms. Winlove-Smith was not only a great leader but also a thoughtful and encouraging mentor who genuinely cared about our growth. She provided clear guidance while giving us the creative freedom to problem-solve and explore. The company’s mission to empower individuals through technology during difficult life transitions is incredibly meaningful, and it was rewarding to contribute to such a purpose-driven project. As a developer, I had the chance to work with modern web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Google Apps Script, to transform content into user-friendly interactive tools and automate form processing and email workflows. This hands-on experience sharpened both my technical and team collaboration skills. I’m grateful to have been part of such a forward-thinking initiative and to have learned under Suzanne’s mentorship.
