Computer software for visualization and implementation of engineering analysis of structure usingArtificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Application
Computer software for visualization and implementation of engineering analysis of structure against applied loads, strain, cracks, tilt measurement, and corrosion Our company is a structure health monitoring company that provides services to many different types of structure via health monitoring systems wirelessly sensors installed, analyzed and reported to the stakeholders. We want to leverage the latest technology in the market to create advantage for our stakeholders so they can take decisions real time with real time data. Applications of this technology include recommendation algorithms, and predictive analytics like lifetime value and classifications of the infrasturcture data. About the project : It is an web app computer software for visualization and implementation of engineering analysis of structure against applied loads, strain, cracks, tilt measurement, and corrosion. The tool allows the client to visually understand the measuring variables causing any long-term or short-term effect on the structural integrity. The downloadable user-friendly reports allows the stakeholders to make informed decisions based on the real-time data input from sensors being directed on the portal. We would like to collaborate with students in their Grad year, Master or PhD students to apply the latest engineering research in their field of experience computer systems, civil engineering or electrical engineering. They may also add their experience using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques to our existing dataset. Students could also develop an AI / ML model related to engineering analysis of structure against applied loads, strain, cracks, tilt measurement, and corrosion The Grad year, Master or PhD student will get to work with real-time problems and real-time data to understand the behaviour of structures. They will also learn and understand the practical use and delivery methods of the data for the stakeholders. The student will also get to work with 5-6 different types of sensor data and help classify and filtrate for the most optimal visualization of the data and its representation to the stakeholder/client. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Conducting background research on our existing products and the dataset. Analyzing our current dataset. Researching the latest AI / ML techniques and how they could be applied to our data. Developing an AI / ML model that provides unique outcomes or insights into our data.(Optional ) Providing multiple solutions that can be applied to solve the same problem. Working alongside a team consisting of - a product manager, and computer software/developers. Get access to and first-hand experience in different types of structural sensor data Consider introducing different software or analytical methods that can be added to the platform. Classification and filtration of infrastructure data coming from 6-7 different type of sensors
UX/UI of Structural Health Visualization and Analysis Tool
This project involves developing a web-based visualization and engineering analysis tool that evaluates structures against applied loads, strain, cracks, tilt measurements, and corrosion. The tool will allow stakeholders to visually interpret structural health data, ensuring informed decision-making through real-time analytics. The platform will provide downloadable, user-friendly reports that deliver actionable insights based on real-time sensor inputs. UX/UI Development for the Platform We are looking for UX/UI professionals or students specializing in user experience and interface design to enhance the usability and accessibility of our SHM platform. This initiative focuses on making the platform intuitive, aesthetically engaging, and efficient for stakeholders interacting with real-time structural data. Scope of UX/UI Work Participants will work on: User Research & Needs Assessment – Understanding user behavior, stakeholder needs, and pain points in navigating the SHM platform. Wireframing & Prototyping – Designing interactive wireframes and user flows for optimal data visualization and report generation. UI/UX Enhancement – Developing aesthetically appealing and functional interface designs for real-time data visualization. Interactivity & Accessibility – Improving user engagement through better data interaction, responsive layouts, and intuitive navigation. Integration with AI/ML Models – Ensuring seamless UI integration with AI-driven analytics and recommendation engines. Collaboration with Development Team – Working closely with engineers and product managers to implement UI/UX improvements effectively. Testing & Iteration – Conducting usability testing to refine designs based on stakeholder feedback. This UX/UI-focused initiative provides a unique opportunity to work on real-world engineering data visualization challenges , bridging technology, design, and infrastructure analytics into a seamless user experience. We look forward to collaborating with creative minds passionate about designing intuitive digital platforms for impactful decision-making in structural health monitoring.
Patent Research and Documentation for Technological Innovations
Starmass Canada is at the forefront of technology innovation and is preparing to patent five groundbreaking innovations. The goal of this project is to conduct thorough research and compile comprehensive documentation to support the patent application process. This project provides learners with the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge of intellectual property and research methodologies to real-world scenarios. The team will focus on gathering relevant data, analyzing existing patents, and ensuring that the documentation meets the necessary legal and technical standards. This project is designed to be completed by a team of learners from a technology or engineering program, allowing them to gain valuable insights into the patenting process and the intricacies of intellectual property management.
Structuring Fund: Innovating Infrastructure and Finance
The STARMASS Infrastructure & Technology Growth Fund (SITGF) project aims to engage MBA students in the strategic design and operationalization of a new growth fund. The project focuses on leveraging the student's financial expertise and strategic thinking to create a robust framework for the fund. The student will work closely with STARMASS’s executive team to understand the intricacies of complex financial instruments such as Standby Letters of Credit (SBLCs), Letters of Credit (LCs), and Bank Guarantees (BGs). The goal is to ensure these instruments are effectively integrated into the fund's structure to support its successful launch and operation. The project provides an opportunity for the student to apply classroom knowledge in finance and strategic management to a real-world scenario, enhancing their understanding of fund management and financial structuring.
