Our students from Keyano College are eager to apply current theories and practices in recruitment and selection to your organization's context. Areas that might be addressed include
- Recruitment theory and practice in the private and public sectors,
- Professional and legal requirements,
- Candidate screening, candidate testing, and
- Interviewing methodology.
Learners
Depending on the needs of your organization, deliverables can vary. Upon completion of the project, you will receive a detailed report and presentation. Broadly speaking, students' work will touch on any number of the following aspects:
- Proposing different recruitment techniques
- Interviewing & developing interviewing questions
- Conducting background checks

Requirements
Beginning in January, students in groups of 4-5 will work with your company to identify your needs and provide actionable recommendations, based on their in-depth research and analysis.
- Recognize and analyze strategic importance of the Staffing function, and apply the different Staffing strategies to support the variety of desired outcomes;
- Strong understanding of Staffing strategies that comply with current laws in Canada
- Identify the workforce planning process and be able to recommend what method of Staffing would be most effective for your desired outcomes;
- Recognize current, best-in-class Staffing methods from Canada’s Top 25 companies, and how to implement a new, strategic method in an organization;
- Research, identify, and use the newest methods of recruiting using technology, namely: Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Job Search websites, and LinkedIn
