I had the pleasure of working with Ryan during his internship at Agile Creative Labs, where he consistently demonstrated proactivity, enthusiasm, and strong teamwork skills. Ryan quickly took ownership of critical tasks, including setting up the development environment, migrating codebases to use an ORM with input validation, and resolving frontend bugs.

Learner feedback
Ryan is a proactive and enthusiastic team player who consistently contributed to the Odyssey projectโ€™s success. He demonstrated strong collaboration skills by actively participating in daily scrums and maintaining clear communication with teammates via Slack and Trello. Ryan took initiative in setting up the development environment, successfully building a Cordova Android app from scratch. He also played a key role in migrating the Odyssey API and mobile app codebases to use an ORM with input validation, improving maintainability and data integrity. Additionally, Ryan delivered important frontend bug fixes, notably addressing issues with the video trim feature. To further enhance his impact, focusing on greater attention to detail and balancing thorough analysis with timely decision-making will help him contribute even more effectively. Overall, Ryanโ€™s dedication, communication, and technical progress make him a valuable asset to any development team.

The project aims to enhance Arkhet AI's core product offering, enhancing the canvas, design system, and datasets. Learners will focus on implementing CRUD operations for datasets, including content, CSV, and JSON files. The project will also involve integrating image upload, storage, and retrieval functionalities using Amazon S3. By leveraging React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and ExpressJS, learners will apply their classroom knowledge to build a seamless user interface and efficient backend. The project will provide hands-on experience in full-stack development, emphasizing frontend design and REST API server creation. This project offers a practical opportunity to work with modern web technologies and tools, preparing learners for real-world software development challenges.

Front-end development for a digital health + edtech product

Main Objective This project aims to develop the front-end of Odyssey , a hybrid mobile application that integrates digital health and edtech solutions to support learners with severe autism. The goal is to create an intuitive and accessible platform that enables teachers and parents to implement evidence-based interventions through task analysis and video modeling. Project Overview Odyssey is designed to assist learners with severe autism by digitizing interventions and enhancing accessibility to structured learning experiences. The application will: Enable teachers to create and customize interventions using task analysis and video modeling , incorporating multimedia elements (videos, images, and audio). Allow teachers to design reusable intervention templates for parents to implement at home, ensuring learning continuity. Implement a rewards system based on learners' interests to encourage engagement and progress. Provide personalized dashboards for teachers, parents, and students to monitor progress, manage interventions, and track rewards.
