Virtual Internship Opportunity Bring on one or more students from RMIT Vietnam in the Tourism and Hospitality Management program to be your virtual interns, in a project-based experience. How should an organization react and motivate employees given its environment? In this capstone project, 200+ student-consultants working in small groups will evaluate both external and internal environments of an organization toward offering practical solutions to respond to the emergent challenges. Only the top projects will be shared with the company. Our students will perform both macro-level and industry level external environment analysis, along with internal environment analysis, to redesign your organization (e.g. HRM, leadership/culture, etc) and will make available their findings and recommendations in the form of video pitches and written reports. This course is the capstone, practice-focused course for 3rd-year bachelor students in a Business Management degree. The course runs for 12 weeks and students are based in Singapore.

In this course, students will apply design thinking principles and techniques to produce a project proposal that addresses a contemporary business issue or opportunity. They will engage with the creation, development and pitching of a proposal, which will form the foundation for its creative execution in Business Design Project 2 . The aim of the projects for our Youth Work students, is to provide mentorship and/or guidance for young people to take action on issues about which they are passionate about. Students will create the infrastructure master plan for a new 21st century carbon neutral land development or redevelopment based on Triple Bottom Line sustainability principles. Rather than ‘Business As Usual’, the challenge is to develop a more interesting vision - to provide a conceptual design and feasibility study for a re-development site, with the objective of ensuring that development is ecologically, socially and economically sustainable.

This summer, we are seeking business partners to work collaboratively and share different insights into business problems with accounting/business students from Australia. These students are 4th year undergraduate students in their final year of study.
